International Boatshows
By end of the yearly winter-boatshow-season Degerö Germany Yachtbau GmbH is able to announce very positive results. After beeing displayed on total 8 shows in Kopenhagen, Helsinki, Ellös, Hamburg, London, Düsseldorf, Leeuwaarden and again Helsinki we managed to create good sales in all legs of our running businesses and in addition closed reasonable number of good contacts for the future. In meanwhile the actual planned growth of capacity by doubling production-area and implementing the new hall for lamination- and varnishing-processes is also finished. So we are looking forward for numerous deliveries in 2008 and also in Spring Summer 2009.

The "Degerö 36 DS" was just presented on the boatshows in Helsiniki / FI, Southampton / UK and Hamburg / GER. The boat will stay in Germany at the yard until Spring 2008. Book your visit to see the boat now: +49 46 21 - 99 53 23.

It was good to see so many friends old and new at the recent Earls Court Boat Show where we had two boats on display - the charming Trusty T23 motoryacht wich attracted much favourable attention, and the Scangaard 21 Classic, exhibited for the first time in the UK and thought by many to be the prettiest boat at the show.
The Scangaard 21 Classic is a traditionally designed day boat with a long keel, a deep cockpit, elegant overhangs and a pretty sheer, has timeless lines and delightful sailing characteristics. Full details can be viewed at the Scangaard Website.
Meanwhile, at our Hamble base, brokerage sales activity remains very strong. With business so brisk, we are now running short of quality boats to sell. So, if you are planning to sell this winter, we'd be delighted to help you.
New Partner in Sweden!
Riddarfjärdens Marina AB, located at Norr Mälarstrand in the center of Stockholm and Marievik / Liljeholmen was just introduced as our new partner for DEGERÖ and SCANGAARD in Sweden. Jan Ljungberg and his Team had a good start on the just finished "Allt för Sjön"-Boatshow and are looking forward for a succesful partnership. New Gallery: Scangaard 21 on Hamble-River
Our UK-Partner Mark Chapman, managing director of Global Yachts Ltd., located in Hamble-Point-Marina, Southampton / UK had a lovely testsail on his Scangaard 21 Classic together with Martin Smith, editor of Classical Boatowner. By using the fresh winds on River Hamble they spent a couple of hours outside testing the little daysailer deeply. The testreport will be issued soon, but we got a nice series of pictures in advance. Thanks for that!

Premiere!
On Hamburg boatshow the final version of the new Scangaard 21 Classic was presented to the public for the first time. Next possibility to see the boat displayed is "Earls-Court Boatshow" in London (01. - 09.12.2007).
